All my life, I have spent in the mountains — skiing, climbing, and guiding clients through these breathtaking locations. Sharing these experiences with others and creating lasting friendships has always inspired me to seek out new challenges and adventures.

I was born in a mountainous region of Tirol, Austria, in 1966. My father put me on skis at the age of two, and I’ve been skiing ever since. With a background in ski racing, hunting, fishing, outdoor sports, ski touring, and rock climbing, the mountains have always been my home. After completing my basic schooling, I studied mechanical engineering for five years in Austria.

I am a certified Austrian Ski Guide with avalanche education, an Austrian Level 4 ski and snowboard instructor, and hold the Austrian Mountain Guide Exam (U.I.A.G.M.).

I have spent many years teaching skiing and ski touring in some of the finest locations in Austria and across Europe, as well as mountaineering, rock climbing, and teaching basic mountain skills while working for the Austrian Alpine Club. My search for deep powder and true adventure brought me to Canada, where I have worked 16 seasons for CMH Heliskiing in both guiding and management roles. Over the years, I have experienced countless unique heli-ski adventures across the globe — and there are many more to come.

Beyond Boundaries was born — the beginning of a unique story.
